Leaving your job to become a trader: good or bad idea?

Let's be clear about this right from the start: leaving your job to live off your own trading is a very bad idea. We repeat, it really is not a good idea. Once again: leaving everything behind to become a full-time trader is dangerous and risky!

Hey Carlo -

I guess it must, as you say a bad idea for some if not most. I have to admit that I did just that, in a way - give up my job to live off my own trading - the only difference here being that I was actually a trader ‘in harness’ for someone else before deciding that I should take the plunge and work for myself.

As mentioned before, I still 100% adhere to my daily mantra of "Never trust a hot tip and there’s no such thing as an easy profit! " and I’m still surviving.🙏
